DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF AN EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS AND RESPONSE PLAN – UNA – PUNO

Objective: to design and implement the Emergency Preparedness and Response Plan in the pavilion of the Faculty of Geological and Metallurgical Engineering. Methods: the situational diagnosis was carried out using the IPERC and the color risk analysis method, the methodology used is a non-experimental design of a cross-sectional type, with a descriptive-explanatory level Results: initially, a risk analysis was carried out according to the threats and vulnerabilities of the institution, this allowed the evaluation of hazards and determine strategies to minimize them, later the organizational scheme of the school was developed, aimed at the timely and effective reaction of the different strategic, tactical and operational levels, in the same way, the emergency plan is based on the emphasis on attention to events massive numbers of people Conclusion: high risks were identified in various areas, regarding the flow of people, in evacuation routes it was determined that the capacity according to current regulations is 1,427 people, in addition the roles and responsibilities were defined, and procedures were established for the emergency preparedness and response plan.
