CHEMICAL ATTRIBUTES AS INDICATORS OF SOIL QUALITY WHEN APPLIED TO THE CERRADO BIOME: A LITERATURE REVIEW

The micro-region of Ceres is one of the main economic regions of the State of Goiás, with Goianésia as the first region of the state to receive incentive from the federal government for development. In the Cerrado biome, the conversion of native forests into agro ecosystems has been characterize by soil quality degradation. In this sense, this study aimed to present the regional historical characteristics and the dynamics and evolution of the chemical indicators of the chemical quality of the soil. The main attributes of soil chemical quality were described, namely organic matter, phosphorus, potassium, calcium, magnesium, aluminium and pH.
