This article aims to discuss the inclusion of deaf students in science fairs in Brazil, which developed activities over a period of nine years, in which deaf students participated for approximately three years. The Science Fair is a public school project to include deaf students in physics and works mainly on astronomy topics that are part of the discipline's curriculum for freshmen students in high School. Through interviews carried out with the school community, we obtained their perceptions about the possibility of including the deaf in the fair. The results show that the community considers the event inclusive mainly because it is interdisciplinary, encourages interaction between deaf and hearing people and works with visual resources. In this context, the fair can be considered an inclusive resource, even though they consider the need for a partnership between: the common room teacher, the special education teacher and Libras interpreter.
